David Edstrom
David is an expert in relationship marketing based on nearly 40 years of marketing, sales and sales management experience. His is a national speaker, trainer and coach as well as assisting companies with e-marketing, web-marketing. One of his specialties is helping companies get appointments with their target market clients. He designs a business development plan based upon your objectives, markets, products, services, and budget; and can work with you as an extension of your sales and marketing teams to implement your plan. David will facilitate meetings between a client and decision makers in that clients' target market.
David began his career with the New England Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1966 as a field representative qualifying for the life insurance industry's top production recognition as a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table. David became an Associate General Agent for The New England Mutual Life Insurance Company in Worcester Mass and helped take that agency to the company's highest recognition level through a process of manpower and business development.
In 1975 David joined the State Mutual Life Insurance Company as a General Agent in Worcester Massachusetts and built that agency from the floor up by recruiting and training a team of top producers receiving numerous top production and quality awards over the next 12 years. In 1987 David joined the Guardian Life Insurance Company as a Regional Vice President in New York City and ran its Northeast Region of general agencies accounting for 60% of the company's total production. Later he became Vice President of the company's entire distribution system and was responsible for the Growth and Development of over 160 agencies nationwide. During this time the Guardian grew exponentially in both manpower and new business.
