David Harper
David has spent the last 30 years to Fortune 50, 100 and 500, as well as leading and growing entrepreneurial organizations. He is a former business executive with a proven operations experience in both domestic and international markets. He has extensive consulting experience, with expertise in business and talent management, as well as leadership development and organizational change.
David has personally worked with clients on a variety of issues, including:
- Turnaround change management for 26,000 employees of a Fortune 500 US financial services corporation, developing a customer-focused culture in a climate that had undergone extensive rationalization.
- The first executive leadership development process for 3,000 senior executives of a Fortune 50 global investment bank, bringing together select high potential executives to establish their role and involvement as the firm's leaders in the 21st century.
- Consumer insight into loyalty-driven sales, in support of a Fortune 100 global food and beverage firm's bid to secure a 10-year supply contract to more than 16,000 outlets.
- Research, analysis and creation of a 30-page White Paper on high-performing Presidents & COOs for a Fortune 150 client.
- Research, report and webcast for The Conference Board on the changing roles in top corporate leadership.
- Design, development, delivery, and analysis of a web-based employee satisfaction survey to 5,000+ employees of a leading nationally recognized healthcare provider.
David previously served as Senior Vice President at Partners International, a privately held management consulting firm in Manhattan, serving the Fortune 500. Before being recruited to Partners, he led multi-stream consulting engagements for The Forum Corporation, a global leader in learning and management development.
Born in Montreal, Canada, David spent the first part of his career in private business, as COO for an international wholesaling and distribution corporation, serving a diversified international client base, including retailers such as Wal-Mart.
David is a Beta Gamma Sigma Medal recipient and graduate from Columbia University Graduate School of Business (MBA, Finance and Management), and holds a Bachelors of Business Administration as well as a BA in Psychology from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada.
He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SPHR™ certified); a CAPT certified facilitator and administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®); and a Kaplan Devries certified facilitator and administrator of the Leadership Versatility Index®.
