
Dodie Gay has been saving her clients money on their waste removal bills since 2001. As a national waste audit consultant she is focused on reducing the actual operating cost to remove waste, identify waste removal billing errors and improve environmental management issues between purchasing, operations and environmental expenses. Public and private clients include a wide mix from commercial and industrial clients to universities, medical facilities, manufacturers to small municipalities. Since 2001, savings have resulted in millions of dollars in reductions and savings to clients. Ms. Gay is the former Vice President for the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. over Existing Industry & Government Affairs where she served the Manufacturers Council, the Legislative Action Council, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Convention & Visitors Bureau. Ms. Gay helped facilitate more than 8 million dollars in state and federal funds to the area, managed more than 1 million dollars in Harbor Restoration funds and Waste Water Characterization Studies. She was a recipient of several awards over the years including International Crime Stopper of the Year, Savannah Business Journal 40 Under 40 Achievers, and the American Business Woman's Association Woman of the Year. She has held many executive roles for Crime Stoppers, the National Committee to Prevent Child Abuse and Parents Anonymous. She earned a Masters in Public Administration from Georgia Southern University and Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Ms. Gay is a certified Coastal Crisis Response Team responder serving at Ground Zero in NYC during 9/11 & other disasters.
