Karen Groce

Karen Groce, a project management, operations, and maintenance specialist, spent 12 years with metals giant ALCOA where she implemented productivity and cost reduction improvements at all levels of the organization. As a project engineer she managed equipment enhancements for improved operations and maintenance and also oversaw new production line installations. Her manufacturing management experience includes both large Operating and Mechanical/Electrical/Civil maintenance departments as well as managing in a small privately held company. She works with all levels of the workplace, having led reorganization efforts and cross-functional teams in a proactive maintenance environment. Ms. Groce is a mechanical engineering graduate from Vanderbilt University and has also completed post-graduate business studies. For the past 7 years she has been involved in developing high performance organizations in the areas of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), Workforce Development, Work Group Training and Facilitation, and Project Management with Lean Initiatives with LeanEdge, LLC and Groce Consulting Services (GCS).
